whats a simple way to build a dog house to where dog would not get all tangled. i have her on a line now. Wish i had money 4 fence...lol hit me up with any help. thanks.

I dont think the type of house would be as important as having him staked off just far enough where he could go in comfortably but not be able to walk around it.

I use plastic 55 gal barrels Cut a hole in one end and screw a couple 2x4's along each side to keep it from rolling. Keep the hole up from the bottom a few inches to keep straw bedding inside. Use enough clean dry straw and they stay plenty warm. I live in Wisconsin and it does get fairly cold here. Keep the chain far enough from house so the dog can't get around it but close enough they can get in.

i have my dog on a line too. every time a car would come up the road he would go running and the chain would flip his 55 gallon barrel over. finally i got tired of having to flip it back over, soo i moved it farther back and stacked peices of logs on the sides and put some gravel on the other side of the log to keep it from rolling.
