i live in south east ga and it is HOT my dogs are on the ground right now and i am thinking of building a kennel here is my idea,10 runs 4 foot wide 10 foot long or would 8 be enough with wood floors and roof my houses will be at the end on the out side of the wire so they have the full floor,now how high dose it need to be off the ground,what type of wood,i want it tilted so i can wash it out,any ideas thanks james

2x4s riped spaced 11/2 just like tc kennel most waste will fall through. i would build it high enough so they can jump in. i also put a box fan in mine they lay in front of it on the very hot days. 100+ degrees here in miss to.
