Great looking kennel. I have a suggestion though, cut a piece of outdoor carpet and nail/screw it to cover the doors, and cut back on heat loss in the winter. Worked like a charm for ours.
I have a ? too. From the pictures it looks like your fence barely touches the ground outside, and part of the pen looks like a poured concrete pad. Is the fence buried at all to prevent digging?

Other than those two things it looks great, let us know how the drainage works out outside too. As for the excercise pen, I agree 100% with making it's fence join the extra circle outside around the kennels. That way if they get out while your cleaning or whatever it's no big deal, and then you can open up a gate and allow them into the excercise pen whenever you want. OR if you want to put a dog in the excercise pen and mess with others inside you'll have 3 seperate pens more or less to do so in. Sounds like those dogs might not want to come out come spring :)

the pad this sits on was acually the cement for the laying house which i tore down.the panels for the dividers set directly on the cement.the other panels are on gravel which was put in the dropping pits, where the scrapers went, and is packed hard.you need a pickax to get thru it.i did end up putting carpet over the doors as the dogs chewed the plastic flaps off in two weeks.i am going to pull all of the gravel out this spring though because it is such a pain to clean.it willl then be all cement with two differant levels.i will have too put in better ends then.it drained well because there was another 40ft of dropping pit on the end of the pens.i plan on drilling some holes in the bottom area when i remove the gravel.the cattle panels i used are very ridgid and do not flex much at all, they would have to push them a foot to get to dirt.thanks for the suggestions.
