for those who consitantly tree bobcats are you doing more so during the day or incidental to coon hunting at night. we have a small population here and I hate when a dog gets on one. I sold a majestic/black and tan a while back because she would leave a hot coon track to run a cold bobcat track. it seems as though the ones around here tree until they see your light then jump tree and you have another long chase. till they tree again, then jump again. I know one night on opening night of coon season I spent all night trying to catch that dog and we treed a bobcat 3 times before i caught her. (never did get that cat)
also is it more pack hunting vs. taking 1 dog out? maybe more dogs under the tree would keep it up there?
