Thanks ya'll. Lots of these pictures were taken around the northwest. We have to go out of state to hunt lion and we do it every year. We get to put a few up at home for fish and game during the year also. I have to say we are pretty lucky with some good bobcat hunting and we are firm believers in the catch and release system. The bayed up bobcat didn't fair so well but he passed up a lot of trees to make his stand..

Here is another picture of my Jack pup. I am awful proud of this guy.

Thanks Emily!! I know that he drives people nuts who are stuck on breed standards, but I personally love his eye color. And the fact that he isn't your typical redheaded, dark brown eyed, blanketback walker. I think he is awesome. And his personality and of lately, his performance in the woods, make me like him that much more..

Mel, our Raven is so "NOT" the breed standard but I think he is beautiful. His butt is too high, his feet are HUGE, he has golden eyes and he is way too dark and way too big for a full blooded Bluetick. But I wouldn't trade him for the world

Nice pics! We have some cougar starting back here in WV. Im not sure how they got back into our area but the DNR did a project to monitor deer population in the area and caught a picture of a cougar chasing a 10 point whitetail from one of those motion sensor tree cameras. I actually believe the DNR released them without letting the public know to lower deer population. A buddy of mine works for the DNR and showed me the pic, it is pretty wild. Sends shivers down my spine just knowing that their living where I hunt, I can only imagine what its like to have dogs hunt them!

Wow Jack is about as pretty a walker dog as you could want. Look at the intenseness in his eye's. I wouldn't want him after me. Good looking hound you got.
