 Post subject: Redfield Scope Warranty

Does any one know a phone number i can call to get service on a Redfield rifle scope ? I believe Meade bought them out not to long ago and the company is in Georgia !

I called them and they wanted $80.00 to fix and $10.00 shipping and handling !

Well, depending on the model Redfield you have, it may be worth it but it probably isn't. Instead of repairing it, I'd suggest sinking some money into a new scope.

You can find some decent scopes for about $150 or less, but to be honest you need to set aside about $250 and up for good optics. Scopes are just something you don't skimp on unless you really aren't that concerned with accuracy or how well the scope performs.

I have other scopes on my rifles like the Redfield 3x9 Widefield Illuminator on 2 different rifles and they do just fine ! I should have know better when i bought this one off of e-bay and it had no return on it, so it"s my fault really ! It a tracker brand of theirs so i want spend that much to get it fixed ! Thanks !
