Post subject: Taurus Judge for coon???

Ok yes it may sound silly but I am trying to justify buying one.
I dont necessarily need the judge but I just want it. What I do need is a pistol to coon hunt with. I am so darn sick and tired of fightin with my 10/22 dogs and gear through these nasty old places I hunt. Add the heat of summer and it is startin to not be enjoyable. So I have decided to get a coon huntin pistol.
Does anyone have any experience with the judge?
Do you like it?
HAve ya knocked a coon out with it?
My thoughts would be that it does not have the barrel length to keep a tight pattern for shootin coon out of a tree 30 foot up with limbs and vines.
But it sure would be nice to be able to use coon huntin as my excuse to buy the judge.

I know how you feel i would love to have it but a buddy of mine told me he went to buy one and the salesmen told him the pattern is only good for a few feet which is understandable plus i dont feel you would like it becuase it is just too heavy i recommend a walther p22 its a very accurate light weight reliable pistol i have shot one before and it was amazing the gun is very smooth and there are a lot of ways you can customize it so it fits your style

Get the judge anyway. Personal defense is reason enough. Love how flexible that one is with .410 and .45(forget I had .44 there..thanks) ammo.

If you need something to shoot coons get a ruger 22 pistol.
