I have a older Bushnel 3x9 scope that I put on my 22 and after 2 boxes of 22 shells it still wont hit paper, so I put on a Tasco (new) 3x9 and still the same thing. I have Weaver mounts and ring (new) and I dont get it, could really use some help. Thanks Don

If it's a bolt action take the bolt out.Put the rifle on a rest and look through the bore.When you get the target centered in the bore without moving the rifle adjust the scope until it's on the target.If it's a newer marlin that is drilled and tapped for mounts sometimes they get drilled crooked and you'll have to use 22 rings that fit in the groove.I had a 17HMR that was that way.
