it depends on which state your in if theyre legal or not. Never tried one but id like it on an open sight guns to just put the red dot on his head and drop him ( the coon that is)

I don't have one on any hunting guns but I do have one on my 38 S & W Airweight and I love it. Worth every penny.

I was at an indoor range and they guy next to me had one of them pup 9mm rifles with a laser sight. I was shooting my rossi pump 22 and had the target back at 30 yards; he started his target whereabouts mine was and I saw this red light shaking all over the target and he couldn't hit it.
Target moves up to 20 yards, same thing, red dot shaking all around the target, he next moved it up to ten yards, and then had like ten feet from him with that red dot shaking all over. That was just funny to watch, but I had to endure his brass flying over to my side. Talked to him later and he had just bought it and wanted to check it out.

you will see all your mistake using a laser sight. As far as steady hand, trigger squeeze. I never knew how much I moved until I used a laser.

Hey they are not legal for deer in ohio but i think for coon you are allowed. If your not i dont understand why cause a lazer would just help you make a cleaner shot.

i havent ever tried em but i have thought about it. i think it would help alot when your out by yourself or have problems with getting light on the coon. before i got one id make sure they were legal in your state. im not sure if it is here in ga....

Its illegal in Ga I THINK But I know that most states won't let you have them on pistols.. it can only be on certain type of rifles.. there stimulations toward it.. but you can't blame them.. someone could do alot of damage with them and theres alot of idiots out there who would.. ya know? But if GA does allow lasers I would def. get one.

god bless and safe hunting

I have a Walther P 22 with a laser here in South dakota. It makes a nice unit and the only problem I have had is a ocassional battery.

As a cop in NY State I carry a 1911 style automatic .45 on duty. I tried crimson trace lasergrips a year or so ago. I had to draw my weapon on a guy one night and as soon as the RED DOT hit his face he @#$% his pants. Best deterrant around. I love mine..
