exactly perfect for a coon distance but if you get on out there you can tell alot of diffence. i usually shhot mine from anywhere from 25- 100 yards and the latter you can see a big diffrence

well first off i changed the stock out and got a houge in od green and it has a palm swell. (you can find thoose in any online store that sells 10/22 stuff) If your going to change barrels your going to have to change stocks as well. Most aftermarket barrels are.920 in size... which of course is way to big for the factory barrell. For the barrell its a toss up for me. I wanted a very nice barrell that shoots really good. i first thought id go with green mountain.. they make great bull barrells and most comp. shooters use them. thery usually the cheapest as well. But the only draw back is that they are really heavy. I thought about thoose long nights where we walk a ton and decided to skip the green mountain. SO i looked at tactical solutions barells. still had the .920 size which i liked (my opinion gives you more accruarcy) But the diffrence is 1 they cost more of course. but they have a chrome liner in the barell and a alum. outer which makes them tons lighter. and looks are awesome (its od green and the barrell is fluted) performance is about exactly the same. my buddy has the setup but has the green mtn barrel. if weight is not an issue go with the green mount. if you want a very good looking one and have a few extra dollars get that one.
of course there are tons of others as well but thoose are the two that i looked at.

others mods are new extened bolt. extened mag relese (which i love) couple of buffers, just to name a few.
im still looking around for a good trigger kit to get rid of the creep and the 40lb pulll it has

ya ive looked into them. .... everything ive read about them isnt good though. almost everybody that has had one said it was junk and would jam on the 2nd or 3rd round. and i really dont want a multi burst trigger. i just want one that dosent have any creep and has a light pull.

If you will take your trigger assembly out you can take a dremel tool to your sear and hammer where they meet and catch.Use the little drum sander and wear safety glasses. You can put the assembly back together and feel the trigger pull without putting it back in the gun.For the creep take the trigger assembly apart pull the shoe(the part you put your trigger finger on) out and pull the plunger out(the little piece behind the trigger) and cut some coils off the spring.Only cutting 1 coil at a time but I think 2 coils is what I usually cut out. That takes your creep out because that is what pushes the trigger so far forward. One of my triggers is so light that when other people shoot it it will double fire. And my other one I won`t let anybody else shoot because it is so light that if you pull the bolt back and let it go it will fire but when you got a clip with a bullet in it,it will slow the bolt down enough where it won`t fire.I don`t recommend this though.Let me know if you need to know anything about them and I`ll help you in anyway I can.I`ll post some pics of mine later!
