Pearson recurve, probably from the 70's. Bought it for $5 at a garage sale. Local bow shop owner looked it over and told me I did good, no cracks and nice balance. Pulls to about 45 lbs. If you can get your shot into the boiler room there's no problem. Once hit a nice doe in the hip on a crappy shot. She jumped as I released. Heard the arrow hit bone and pop back out. Arrow had blood and grease on it about three inches up. Last time I used it, felt real bad but saw her a week later limping but otherwise fully functional. Life is to full of work and kids right now for bow hunting. Sure miss it but there'll be other days.

got a older PSE setting on 68 lbs of pull. shooting carbon arrows with the 75 grain muzzy's. if you have never shot carbons they are a great investment. when they are done you know it, dont have to worry bout the little bends in the alluminum arrows that you cant see sometimes. one of the best investments ive ever made when it comes to reliability.

Ive got an older Hoyt gamegetter 2. its a pretty reliable old bow that gets the job done. Could be used sparingly this next year as I am starting to convert to traditional with a long bow

Funny thing about those old PSE's, you don't draw intending to hold it very long, and you DON'T get your arm in the way when you let go of the string, huh? If it's set at 68lbs., you can bet you're HOLDING 68lbs. at full draw. I agree about the carbon arrows- they are probavly the best all around thing to happen to bow hunting.

I shoot either a PSE X -Force or an Oneida Tomcat. I shoot carbon express arrows and either Muzzy 3 blades or WASP mechanicals- both in 100 grain.

Pearson Spectre 7352. I looked at E-bay and saw one sold in GA for $92. I looked more mint than mine but same thing. Anyone else using this model bow?
