I have always used a mossberg that i got from Wal-mart. I have had one for about 10 yrs now and have dropped it, kicked it, thrown it, shot the heck out of it and it still works like a charm. Will even kill a deer with it still lol

Stay away from the mossberg auto the pumps are fine autos are not. If you want a quality auto go with a remington they still have had a few probs. but all manufactures do. The benellis are awsome but also awsomley priced and still manufacturing probs. have sent any of the above in for repair.

Remington 11-87 best quality for the price. If you got the cash get the Bennelli.

Remington is a good choice.
Only Benelli I had was a Nova.
I sold that Nova.

I prefer The Remington 1100 over the 11-87 I have a Benelli SBE II and I love it, it shoots any kind of shells and you can take it totally down in a few minutes. The Browning gold is a great one, too and was the auto-500 (not auto-5 thought they are good, too) You cna put one up used for not alot of money.

Those Super X's are nice. Very simple action, too. easy to clean and reliable.

my semi auto is a springfield. its pretty old, it was my grandpas, but its a great gun. if you clean it, and take care of it it works great. if not, it tends to jam or not eject the shells. i use it alot, but clean it alot to, never have any problems. nice wood stock so it takes a beating.

lol, i know what you mean. When i was a kid everyone knew when i was squirrel hunting cuz I had an over and under 22 over 410. they would here the 22 go off, then the 410 right after.
I went to the 10/22 with 30 round clip.
My friends always used 20 or 12 ga single shots or double barrels with bird shot and the pellets usually didn't get into the meat.
My choice with a shotgun would be a pump like mossburg 500 or the defender. I also have a bolt action mossburg 12ga that I think wold be ideal.
