If you wanna bust them birds, buy a Rhino choke tube and buy a box of Nitro brand shells. The Primos Jelly Head is also a good choke for the 870 Supermag. I used a NEF 10ga with a Rhino and Nitro 3.5's and it is devastating.

I dont know what the rules on shotguns are around where you live but in Virginia we hunt deer with them and i have had my 870 super mag for yrs and it has never failed me, if you can use buckshot for deer in your state the best advice i can give you is buy yourself a "buck kicker" choke for the gun and shoot 3 1/2'' OObuck in it and you better be on the deer cause it shoots hard and tight. Mines been bounced on trees, in the back of trucks and dog boxes, under water... we wont go there, and with a good cleaning every now and then shes always ready to rock. Thus making it the best PUMP shotgun you can buy in my opinion.

870 in my opinion is the best pump ever made.I own a Ducks Unlimited edition super mag and my son owns a express mag.We both duck hunt in Ms delta and hold our own against Browning and Mossberg.870 is one tough gun.

mine with a 3inch 4 shot i can kill a turkey at 60 yards no problem. I use a super full tukey choke.
