I recently bought a used, tiny little .22 pistol (because it was dirt cheap). The bullets seem to come out way low, which I've never experienced. It has fixed sights, so that's not the problem. With other handguns I probably couldn't hit a running hare, but I can sure well hit a target. I'm going to practice some more and have a gun person we know look at it (if I can't figure out if I'm doing something wrong or not), but my question is can the barrell inside somehow get crooked and make the shots be way off?

Maybe i'm misunderstanding but with fixed sights and it shooting low you may have to file the front sight post down some to bring your shots up to where you want. I did this with my tradition muzzleloader to get it on target. Its a thought, but if it is a tiny pistol like you say don't expect too much from it as far as accuracy goes, especially if it was a cheap one.

Small pistols like the Beretta Tomcat and Bobcat aren't exactly noted for their accuracy. You can try to file down the front sight and that should help, but don't expect too much out of it. They are strictly for very close use.

keep in mind, a gun like that is for very close action. so close you don't have time to aim. it's more like a fist or knife but better.

Ya those mouse guns are meant to be used at arms length or closer and not at hunting range though some can be quite accurate most leave a lot to be desired just remember that in the end there meant to be the final backup in a desperate situation so if you can hit anything at 20 feet or better your doing good
