Was one of them the 300 H&H? I guess i'm not quite sure, is it something other than a 30 cal? I would imagine it would be something bigger like a 9.3x62?

We have a winner!!! I will have to look at the 375 in detail you may be right I don't know enough about that cartrige. I wouldn't think so but I will check. but there is a far easier one out there.

The 375 has over 600lbs of knock down energy more, so that doesn't work. It's well over 4,000 lbs

Well the most comon cal's are the .416 Rigby and the .458 Lott & .505 Gibbs, but all of them have way more connetic energy then both of the 300 rounds. I would have to say the .270. I know alot of game was killed in Africa with a 270 & 30/06. And there's not an animal on that contenent that I wouldn't hunt with either the .338 Win Mag or .375 H&H Mag those both have enough conetic energy to stop a rino. But my choice would be a .470 Nitro Express or a .600 Nitro Express. Loaded with Barnes Banded Solids or Winchester Trophy Bonded Sledge Hammers. And either one of those bullets in 685 Gr
