Im suprised not more people suggested a good old 12 gauge with slugs or 000,00 buckshot. That stuff will kill almost any thing within range.

Get a Browning A-Bolt chambered in a .25 WSSM. I think thats the best yote gun around right now.

All the calibers you mention are more than adequate for yote but if you plan on shooting heavier bullets I would go with the .243 the barrels rate of twist will likely be more forgiving and stabilize heavier longer bullets better

Any of them will do. If it were me i would choose the .223 because the shells are cheaper. Im a little stingy

If your hunting in brushy areas and 100 yards or less, it's hard to beat a .3030. I usually hunt coyotes with my .3030 or .3006 and a shotgun with buckshot together because sometimes they'll come running in so fast to my calling that they'll be about on top of me.

I have a 22-250 in Winchester Model 70 with a bull barrel. It is very accurate. We have used it for varmints to deer

Can't you buy super cheap .223 ammo in bulk from surplus places?

Well the .243 will give you more range and knockdown power than the 22-250 or the .223. The 22-250 will give you a little more range than the .223. But the .223 is a military round and theres always and abundance of ammo to be found and various bullet selections. I have found the best bullet for me with my .223 when shooting coyotes and fox are the Black Hills 60 grain V-max, and the Hornady 40 grain v-max.
You are missing out on some other rifles though. The 220 swift if you can find onw is a proven killer, the .222, the .221 fireball, the 17remington, and the 17fireball AKA MachIV. Good luck with whatever you choose
