I also have a rough rider and it is not a terrible pistol for the money. I think i got mine for only 140 bucks or so. I like to use the magnum cylinder in it, seem to be more accurate for some reason, and it packs alot more punch. The only think i don't like about it is the cheap hammer but over all well worth the money

i always hunted at night with a 22 repeater rifle. i just had to have a 22 pistol. it would be so much easier to carry, it wouldn't get hung on everything as i struggled through the swamps and jungles on eastern nc. so i got one. now i find that i can't hit much with it. now i'm about as good a shot as anyone with guns but i haven't learned to use the sights yet, i guess. i can hit a possum ok because they don't get too high. but a coon in a tall tree, forget about it. so now i'm looking for another rifle, since my last two are worn slam out. i'm thinking about a henry youth model. they are shorter and can handle the 22 shorts which i like to shoot.
