does anyone own one of these? if so what do you think of it?

im debating buying one with a 9 1/2" barrel and using it for coon hunting. the trigger guard is broke and hits the trigger but its still shootable. i wanted to get it drilled and taped so i could mount a laser on it, if possible. he wants $200 for it.

what do yall think?

I own one and it is a sound weapon. I enjoy shooting it. The problem with using it for coonhunting is when the coons are to high up in the tree, one has trouble hitting them. So I switched to a rifle. I use my single six for bunny busting and for running my trap lines mostly. It works well and has never failed me. I would recommend one to anybody. I wouldnt go through the trouble of drilling and tapping it. They make grips fro them that have the laser built in to it. They are a little pricey bu tnot to bad. They replace the grips that are on the gun now.

i think imma go ahead and buy it. i found a scope rail to fit it and it requires no drilling and tapping. and if it dont work out for coon hunting it will still be an awesome gun just to have.
