i just bought one today, and the only thing i might be able to see wrong is it might be hard to see the sights real well at night through a light. it has a apature ghost ring sight on the rear. but i believe its gonna be just fine!

now then, if only my dog will tree i can test it out!

make sure you carry a key with you for the security lock. It's a bad feeling to get to the tree and realize that you have pushed the lock in and not know it!!! Besides that I have had no trouble with mine. small and accurate.

the key thing, yeah, found out how THAT worked the first time i used it, long story short, i found the key! now its on the front sling swivel so i wont forget it!
as soon as i figure out how to remove the stock im gonna get rid of that damn lock! (it has a special torx screw...)

i just had a inspiration! paint the front sight with white glow in the dark paint or commendere a fiber optic sight!

I put an E-clip on the lock. You can't tell its there and it is disabled without disrupting the gun. It can be taken back off easily. Any auto parts store will have them in stock and for a couple of pennies it can't be beat.

They are a really nice value. alot of gun for the money.

I rally like the fiber optic sights. If you can pick one up cheaply, I would strongly recommend one.

It really sucks when you loose the key, im thinking about just drilling it out anyone think it will hurt it. one of three 22's just got a new on lastn ight. Remington i think its the 537 model could be mistaken. im going to put on a red dot scope with 7 different brightness levels. anyone else have a red dot scope and there dislikes and likes.

I have had the pleasure of owning a cricket. they are nice little coonbuster while they last mine lasted one season. i have owned a chipmonk for 8 years now , much better rifle. i have a springfield m6 scout 22 over 410 alittle on the heavy side ammunition stores in the stock. i recentley bought a henry mini bolt. besides the scope mount being a cantilever type i beleive this rifle will best them all, heavy barel but the shortest iv seen even like an 8th shorter then the cricket , stainless bull type barrel, syn stock and the action is simple will see what happens .

I just went to the website for Rogue Rifles, who make the chipmunk, and they have closed their doors. I got redirected to the crickett website.
