I am thinking about useing a muzzleloader, and was wondering with the newer in-lines and such do you just have to drop in the pyrodex pellets, and the bullet then use the ramrod to seat the bullet and shoot?

yeah taters, thats pretty much about all you have to do... Put the powder in and seat the bullet. Put the primer cap on and let er rip. These newer in-lines they keep coming out with will shot groups right up there with a good rifle. its pretty amazing to see how far they keep coming along...

Taters concider the primitive muzzle loaders to. The new ones are so much like any modern rifle. You would be living history and tradition of our great land. Another thing, don't think this will put you at any great disadvantage as a hunter either. Until I became a member of the bifocal generation I hunted with friends carrying big rifles with scopes. In this timber country I hunt I never felt I was on the short end of the stick.
