You would suprised at what kind of accuracy a bolt action .30-30 with a boattail bullet can deliver. I have worked this up in my mind to be an ultimate deer rifle for my country. I just hope they can keep the bullets affordable until i can get a die.

Probably is a good caliber for a lever action. I would think with the new leverloution ammo with the hornady bullets, a 30.30 would be just as good and probably cheaper to shoot.
