Buy the one that feel the best I have 2 stogers there built like a tank I use 1 of them for cowboy shooting and have put over 5000 rounds through it without a hitch I find that for me it just feel good but that said the 870 is a good gun and you can get a lot of after market goodies for it as well.

As for the guy with the stoger with the off center rib its not just them that lets mishaps through couse I have a cousin that is a big 870 fan and he just bought a new mag and when he got it home he found that the shoulder stock was loose becouse they dident tighten the bolt that holds it in place all the way will say that when he called the company they took care of it right away at there expense to dident cost him a thing not even shipping.

It just seems that a lot of companies are getting sloppy with workmanship the car dealer here has a new caddi that the factory shipped them nothing wrong with it except that they forgot to PAINT it now tell me how do you miss something like that.

ive got a stoeger condor and i love it

its a great gun and its got some type of thing in the stock to really reduce recoil

how much is it where you are

the reason i bought it was because im a lefty and it wouldve cost me a couple hundred more for an 870

Why limit yourself to just thoughs two choices? I think the fun of buying a gun is going there and finding the right one that catches your fancy. getting one that fits you well, and most importantly showing up your buddies. Anyway you can never have enough guns so just get them both lol.

Another vote for the 870....(although these days I prefer a Browning Pump.)

Get the Supermag...same weight as the other 870 models and you can shoot any 12ga shell made. Tough as nails shotgun.
