Would you rather get a revolver with fixed sights or adjustable and why?

I'd rather use one with adjustable sights because the ones I've shot with fixed worn't close to what I was aiming at.

go with adjustable every time. if you have to get an aftermarket sight installed, go for it, you won't be disappointed.

Any aftermarket part is a part that you add onto something after it has been purchased. Let's say you bought a used 1911 pistol anmd the sights were off. You don't want to drift and file so you buy some new fully adjustable night sights designed for a 1911. Those sights are aftermarket parts. Sighting systems are probably the biggest aftermarket parts in the firearms industry with triggers and barrels a distant second.

It depends on what your using the gun for. If your shooting targets 25 yards + adjustible sight are the ticket. If your using your gun for defensive reasons fixed sights are it.
Fixed sights usually stay where you put 'em whereas adjustible are just that and they can be bumped around though,
I have a handgun with adjustible sights that I set 15-16 years ago and I carry it often and have yet to reset the sights.

If you had a revolver with adjustable sights, and you put it in a holster and took it out of a holster often, would it mess of the front and rear sights? Oh and... why cant you use fixes sights for hunting, if the rounds hit where you aim?

Taking it out of the holster is not a big worry for messing up the sights but I've seen it happen to a friend. She hung the rear sight on the holster during a match and didn't do so well after.
You sure can hunt with fixed sights. I know many people who do it including me. Hitting where you aim is what it's all about.
I have a handgun that I hunted with for along time that has fixed sights and it shot alittle low and alittle left and I never tried to fix it to shoot point of aim I just used some Kentucky windage and I always did fine with it and so can you with practice.

No reason why you can't use fixed sights for hunting or anything else. if it works for you, then go with it. If properly torqued down, adjustable sights won't go anywhere unless you really give them a good whack, but the same could be said for fixed sights, too. If they aren't in the dovetail taightly enough, they can go out, too. I prefer adjustable because they are more precise, but really there are alot of fixed sighting systems that are very very good.
