Hey guys. Sorry I haven't been around much lately. Been busy with my MBA, new pup and building this. I'm not selling these...yet but need to get some feedback.

How many guys are using Marlin .22's (model 60 or other) for hunting?

Even if you don't would you be interested in buying a stock that has a telescoping stock, pistol grip and front rails?

I just got done building my first prototype. The finished product will be molded plastic not a hacked up wood stock. It's a Marlin Model 60 that accepts an AR15 telescoping stock and grip. I've used it a couple of times and so far I love it. There are some design aspects though I need other opinions on.

I have 3" in the current stock that I can adjust. I was thinking about making it so it goes 2" shorter and 1" longer. Is more length more important than how small it goes?

I'm still playing with the grip too. Right now I just don't like the placement my finger just doesn't sit perfect on the trigger. It feels like the grip is too close. I'm trying to get some more angle out of it and so far seems to be getting it closer.

Please tell me what you think. What you like what you don't like.

I think it's a good idea, I use a model 60 but I made just a pistol grip stock for it. It's worked great for the last 5 years or so but there is times I wish I had the butt stock also. Have you/could you make a folding stock for one?Just curious, what would be price range on them?

Yes the idea is any AR stock so you can do a folding stock option. I haven't asked on a price yet. What would you pay?

No offense intended but I hate puttin a price on another mans stuff, I'm like most other people, if it's a good quality product at a reasonable price then I'll buy it. I understand that you have to make a profit also, I personally just don't feel comfortable pricing your product. If you figure a price and could make a folding stock I'd be very interested. Good luck, and keep me posted of ya would.

None taken. I'm kind of in the same boat. that is why I'm having a hard time nailing down a price. What I think I'm going to sell it for is a lot less than what you could buy current stuff for that is out in the market. On the other hand I don't want to price it so high I miss my target market. What I think will be the stocks main competition sells for between $50-$60. But it's not a telescoping stock. The most common ruger telescoping stock sells for $120 which I think is just way too high.

Yeah that sounds like a good start. If they start selling good you can always raise the price a little if you wanted.
