if you buy one can you put any rossi interchangeable barrel on it even if it didnt cone with it when you bought it?

I have found that there are two different size receivers. There is the smaller one that can accept a 410 or 22 barrel, and a larger one that accepts a 20 gauge or 22 barrel. The 20 Gauge/22 combo is alot heavier to pack around. I have both and wont carry the 20/22 anymore. Hope this helps.
