Write or email your legislators demanding at the least an amendment to 117 to funnel some of its' $30 million annual budget to eliminate the %15 pay cut our wardens have had to suffer this year or better yet eliminate it altogether before California suffers another fatal cougar attack. Let the experts manage California's predator population. Not the HSUS, not bigwildlife.org, not the Mountain Lion Foundation. Let me hunt the big kitties!!! I just went to a town hall meeting in Hollister, San Benito County regarding the cougar problem. There are a lot of ranchers who are tired of the three S's. They would rather charge hunters to take care of their cougar problems. Seasons coming soon and I can't wait!! -Pete Meyer
