I live in the township. The township trustees are trying to make me get rid of my hounds. They sent me a letter stating i am only aloud 3 dogs in the township i live in. They said i can file for a conditional kennel permit. To file this costs 200.00 and they allready said i would be turned down. any help would be appreciated thanks.

Under state law a township can limit the number of dogs a person has, however, you need to read the ordinance and a keenel license applies if you have 6 or more dogs and tghey are used to breed or hunt. You can apply at the autior's office or local humane society and it costs nothing to apply, they either grant it or not and if they do, it is 60 up front for 6 tags and a dollar for every tag after that.

Or find a farmer and put up some fencing in the woods and let your dogs live there......
