HB 451 was introduced today by Representative in the Florida House of Representatives. You can read the law on the web at
http://www.myfloridahouse.com/Sections/ ... ssionId=61This bill is a clone of AB 1634, the mandatory spay/neuter bill that we fought in California. It will require all dogs and cats to be spayed/neutered at age 4 months, with exceptions for certain categories of dogs whose owners purchase a breeder's license.
The sponsor of this bill is Scott Randolph (D) from district 36. You can reach Rep. Randolph at:

http://www.myfloridahouse.gov/Sections/ ... ssionId=61It is imperative that you contact him immediately. Swift, overwhelming opposition is the best way to defeat this bill. Remember how hard it was to defeat AB 1634 in California. I expect this fight to be equally long and hard.
