i want to join that Animal Leberation Front forum to try and reason w/ these phycos, but i hear that they are crazy and will hunt ppl down, should i try and say something or should i stay away and let them be phycotic idiots, you should here the stuff this one guy said about this 10 yr old kid who had cancer and his last wish was to go on a bear hunt, and on his flight back the kid dies, this person said that he hopes the kids death was painful, and that he hopes he rotts in hell!! i don't think they'll be able to find me, but i just think some one needs to talk some sense to them, that kids life was more precious than a stupid bear who would have ended up killing or attacking someone anyway!

Write letters to your legislators, letters to the editor, be a good example of a hunter, talk to your friends about being a responsible dog owner/hunter, write a novel about a youngster infiltrating and lunatic fringe group and bringing about change, etc...but leave those freaks alone!

I wouldn't even visit their websites. It is propaganda and is more frustrating than it's worth.

I agree with Libby. The people that say that stuff are just nuts. Trying to reason with insanity on'y makes you insane. Trust me I've tried! When i was a little younger and way full of pi$$ and vinegar, i went to their sites and tried to reason with them. A few of them were respectful and we actually had an intellegant discussion, but the majority tried to send me porn or tell me how horrible i am and on and on. Leave those freaks alone, try to spread the word to as much people as possible that PETA, HSUS, and ALF are organizations that teach hatred, spread lies, and scam money from ignorant people.

Well i definatly don't want them yo send me porn jk, but i thought that i would promised to stop hunting deer and squirrel for 3 years, but i would only do that if they didn't go all crazy on me, they could ask me any questions they wanted as long as they didn't call me a murder or threaten me in any way, but, i'll think about what ya'll said before i try and stand up to them, i just can't ignore them, i hate being referred to as a murder, both of my parents grew up in the 60s and they came from big poor families, they could rarley afford to buy things from the store, so they had to hunt for food, money, and to keep the crops going, i don't get much of a thrill from killing an animal, its just how i've been brought up, and sometimes i wont shoot stuff i my traps (espacially raccoons) cause some make loud noises and just roll around, and its horrible to watch, thats why i still hunt most of the time, with a rifle that can go long distances, so i don't have to watch them die, my cousin says i'm the sissiest hunter ever, i think its just that i have some compassion for living things, so you tell that i hate being called a murder cause its not true that i love watching animals die,

... Find another way to get involved...like voting etc. I had to stop going to their site cause it got me so riled up. I'm having some heart issues and my hubby got very mad at me...gets my pulse racing THINKING about it! I have lots of friends who are into animal rights. Being from MA we have many liberal residents. I am NOT friends with ANY of the WHACKOS.... I have not shot an animal(can't shoot)... but I have to kill animals on the farm when they are injured. I hate it everytime I have to but it is humane. NO I can't take the chicken to the vet... THAT would be INhumane... WHen my hubby has to shoot an predator on the farm it shakes him up everytime but it is nec. He is a GOOD shot and always kill with one shot instantly. We would hunt for food if necessary. We don't have any hunting coonhounds at home(Mine lives in WI with my co owner). IF WE were training a pup and had any coon around we wouldn't hesitate to shoot one dead for the pup to get a "reward" if needed. HUNTING is necessary to keep the population down. I dont' get a "thrill" from killing but I get a THRILL from the chase and the sound of the hounds(I can't wait to go again after almost 30 yrs!!!!)....
My view on the Antis is to try to educate our friends, our youth etc... and fight for the rights to hunt, have guns, run hounds, own hounds, have pets, keep kennel dogs, dogs on chains etc. We need to show NonHunters that we are decent people who care about our animals and wildlife. I run into cr@p all the time since I am also a rescue volunteer. "What? How can a HUNTER rescue animals?" DUH... I hate stereo types aLOT.
I have to stop typing now...LMBO... pulse is up! Do you best to preserve our sport and our rights to hunt and have guns! Do it legally and as "politely" as you can and stay safe! HAPPYHUNTING! Heather

I have an account on that website andd it is completely pointless they have no clue what they talk about. It is a waste of time to try to reason because they either ban you or tell you to read the FAQ or they come up with some bs excuses on why animals have prioritys over humnas. And about that 10 year old kid they are f***ing sick. They would rather see the boy die of cancer than have the bear die. it's a joke and a complete waste of time.
