When it comes to legal issues I know many of us have different opinions an it somewhat feels like our opinions don't matter do to how big the government is. I hear a lot of talk about how dog hunting will become illegal and sooner or later still hunting will become illegal because to some people all hunting is to them is a dumb waste of time , and I know there can be many different reasons people hunt whether it's because it's fun, to eat, to win that next trophy or simply to finish out a dog. I list these reasons because those are some of the reasons I hunt, but it runs deeper than that. Coon hunting is away of life to me. There is just something I love about pulling in to a thicket of woods on my truck and seeing the frost on the ground or being in the middle of nature just me and my dog. I just wanted to tell you don't ever let someone take your way of living away from you. Stand for what you believe in no matter what the "government" thinks. Just wanted to share that with you because coon hunting isn't just turning a dog loose in the woods. It's a way of life and if anyone tries to change that they will have to come through me. I will do whatever it is to preserve my heritage.

Amen to that brother. I will quit hunting the day I die and no other way than that.

They can have my guns and most importantly my dogs out of my cold dead fingers.
