I showed a dog in the woods tonight to a prospective buyer. A good walker hound that tonight looked more like a house dog. First turn loose struck worked track poorly then got to a fence and wouldn't cross it.Next turn loose was next door to my father in law who has a plot dog that he hunts with alot. He heard her barking and cut a trail to her. Third turn loose he and my english gyp struck a track and ran about 500 yards never sounded exactly right so we walked into them and smelled a pole cat. ( the partners in crime must have been on a search and destroy mission for their stripped furry freind.) Once I got them back home they both looked at each other and just layed down. Which they never do after hunting usally they raise cane for at least a minute or two. He must have known he was possibly going to be leaving my house so he recruited my gyp to help him show out. Any body else has something like this happen??? :?

he is just a dog, dogs will be dogs. we cant expect them to be perfect. i have shown dogs before that will run and jump into the box. i think they can tell something is going to happen, so they act up.
lol
