I have a year old bluetick and she just went into heat but I've been trying to catch a coon all summer and i caught to night before last. i want to let her get on a hot coon but i don't want to risk her getting bred any advice?

If ya want to hunt a female for 365 days a year.......get her spayed.

If not, put her up when she is in heat.......In my opinion, that is the responsible thing to do.

When my females come into heat I put then in my stock trailer with a dog house. I make sure nothin can get to them bc when u got the money in hounds like some people do u don't want anything gettin to them when they r in hear

I have a buddy that hunted his female in heat with one of his male dogs. He couldn't understand why his Garmin kept showing the female "on point" and the male "treeing"... He figured it out! Lol
