I took my pup out tonight where we have been seeing coon alot...and he got into it with a porcupine...pulled quills out for half an hour...is there a way of breaking them of fighting them or u think he learned his lesson er what?

Chances are he will not learn his lesson with one encounter. We have a lot of porcupines here and they give me heck. I finally got one caught alive and used him in a live trap to help the dogs learn not to mess with them. It takes time and a good tri tronics. I would take a thousand possum and armadillos over one porky.
