How do you keep a catfooted dogs feet tight on the bench? My dogs feet look tight when he just stands there. When I put him on the bench sometimes his feet are not as tight as they could be.

lean over his back, grab both of his front feet at shoulder height and pick him up 2-3 inches off the bench a couple times and most generally this will tighten their feet up. try to do it quick, almost springy like, like your bouncing his front section of the body and that should do the trick. Its how i do it.

If he will let you pinch his front toes together and keep workin him on the bench, if he wont let you pinch his toes lift him up when you set his front feet, take your hand under his chest and then set the feet down where you want them, i do that and my dogs get up on there toes better!!!
