I have the first edition on walk with wick. Although I started my dog sooner than John says to. He's now treeing by himself at 7 months old. Theres a few things that needs worked on but nothing that a little time and frustration won't take care of. His methods work great. I'm not into competition hunting yet so I don't mind if my dog don't turn out top of the line anyway. He's made huge progress already. I'd recommend that book. I also got a lot of training tips from the dvd tree my pup out of the nite lite magazine. It's off of the hardwood walker line. THem pups tree at 6 months old good. I don't have as much time to train as I wish I could of to turn him out that good that fast but like I said. It'll come.
