ive got a gyp that is about two and half and a puppy thats about to be 5 months. i keep penned up together(which i read on hear was not good), but i dont have any more room. the kennel is very big though. anyway, my older gyp has an excellent bloodline(sacket, hic.nut harry, ect). shes not as far along as i hoped. shes not the stay put hard nosed walker dog that i wanted her to be. ive hunted her alot and shes getting better every single time(trailing, treeing, ect). i paid a lucrative amount of money far her and ive got a lot invested, but im having doubts whether keep her or sell her. ive got a promising prospect in the pup and im kinda in a bind. shes my first hound and she'd be a good won if someone really work with her, but i think im in just a little over my head. what do yall think, should she stay or should she go?

Its easy to get more dogs than you can hunt..BUT if you have a dog you can hunt right now..Id do it..Hunt the hair off it...Then you will know if shes worth keeping or not....(Most dogs are not) (REAL)Good females can be really hard to find..One thing about a female is you can take them and breed them to the best males in the country...Thats the best way to improve your Bloodlines....I like to keep a pup about ready to hunt and small pup or two and a year old dog to hunt..That way I always have something to work with.Or getting ready to work with. That makes it a lot easyer if a few dont make it...Its real easy to spend a year waiting one one pup...Just to see if they make it or not...The more you work with make your chances. Of one of them being a dog you really like....BUT if you cant do that...Id just stick with finding broke dogs..Its can be really cheaper in the long run...But the better a dogs bred it will cost a lot more for them...

put her on the bench , there are alot of people who live for bench shows, and to think about it , having some kind of degree is alot better than having nothing at all, espesially for future pup sales
