up here in montana they like to stay in big old cotton woods near the river, pretty much any type of tree near a good water source will be a good home for coon. |

here in south ga .... the big water oaks , uno the 1s that has a couple million leaves on them lol.... cedar will fall in 2cd |

around here in ohio them things will crawl anywhere and everywhere if theres a hole close to water they will stay there if they find a dead tree they are there and most of the time i see coon real early in the morning when i go out to go deer huntin i have a big tree right next to my stand with a hole in it ive watched 3 of them crawl into there on more than one morning |
