I have a year old Black and Tan male. He is skittish around people. He hunts great at my house and great at a friend of mine who lives right down the road. But if I have to drive somewhere he doesn't hardly hunt at all. Do y'all think maybe it's because he is skittish around people? He isn't skittish around me only strangers. Or maybe is he getting sick in the box? How do I fix the box problem and the skittish problem? Any help would be great thanks y'all.

Just a thought, but try giving him a bone or something to chew on in the box to get his mind off the ride.

Should I maybe try riding him in the box more?

Once again just my opinion but for about two weeks I would ride him for ten or fifteen minutes and feed him as soon as you get back so in his mind the ride brings something enjoyable
