dog stops treeing when he see you comming in will not leave the tree and usually will start treeing again but is there anything i might try to do to just keep him treeing

a lot of dogs if they have had a lot of coons killed to them will stop treeing when you get their. if this is the case he should come out of it after kill season and you hunt him a lot without killing any. if it is a case that when he just sees you coming with your lite he is just tring to figure out whats coming and as soon as he realizes its you he starts treeing again. if it is a young dog he will more than likely get over it and quit shutting up.

i have 2 dogs that will stop treeing when they see my light if they have been treeing for a long time.i think there wanting to know whos comming in to them.i will holler speak to um and they go back to treeing again.
