Well boys my little pup is not doing what he was he treed a coon back around the last time I posted .. And I layed him up cause of the snow and colder temps .. Took him out the past three nights and he has been stroking .. I have one more question . my cousin wanted me to cone hunting with him and some of his buddy's there was 3 males and 2 females . yeah a lot of them we turned them out the ran 75 yards and mine came back to me and stood by my feet .. I was like what the heck is going on the other dogs struck and ran straight out in front of us and fell Treed .. I petted my pup on the head and said get in there son he turned the opposite direction on a power line struck and went out of hearing in the other direction .. Got treed had the meat well I go walking towards my dog and the other dogs wheeled around and came into mine about three mins after I tied mine up .. Well u know how that goes there dogs did all the work cause mine came back to me when we casted them .. My question is why did mine turn around and how do I get him to not do that again ..

Stop worrying and just hunt the paws off of him. Sounds to me like ya got a good one. A smart dog will get by himself and tree his own coon.
