I just bought a new dog and i know the guys that hunted for a year on coons and they said that she was doin good but then the guy sold her to a buddie that was lookin for a dog and as far as i know she as been used for squirrels for the past two years not coons and i would like to hunt coons with her too and what i was wantin to know is there a way to get her started on coons again ....she is 5 years old and she is a mountain feist

Just start hunting her with a Coon dog, shoot some coon out
dead for her to maul around. At her age, if there's interest it will show quick. The reason I say (dead coon) is because if she's the size i think; I would never have the heart to put her on a LIVE or WOUNDED coon.

May you have luck, and it's all fun, but I had rather hunt a big dog.
