my dog is almost 2 years old she run and trees good but dont go hunting good yet. but the problem is like on the lead when there is a new she never met thats a female she will jump at them and snap. only females and just when they meet the first time. she did it to one and took her with the same dog the next time and didnt do it. its like the first time shee meets that dog she does it. and she does it i spank her aand turn em loose and she dont do it no more. what do i need to do????? give her a good ole fashioned bad whoopin or what??????????????????????????? please help!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the dog has an inferiority complex and wants to make another dog think she's bad. If she doesn't actualy make contact; I would pay it no mind. Probably if a dog snaped back she would cow down and start whining. I wouldn't whip her unless she makes contact; it could do more harm than good.
