guys, i was having the same problems, i called & talked to 1 of the garmin tec guys, he walked me through what to do.. tools , needle nose plyer ,small phillips screw driver.. take back plate off the collar ,pell back rubber dirt covers, remove ant. screw , unplug satalite wire with needle nose. remove the 4 screws from the battery cover [ be careful [ not much play in wires] open cover carefully.[.lift off end with turn on button last ]unplug battery wire carefully, unplug small plug from gps board carefully... leave unpluged for several hours, when you plug it back it resets every thing... while i was at this i also updated my hand held to the new 3.30 softwere version just out... the link is
www8.garmin.com/support/agree?id=931..... every thing works better than it ever has....................tom

yep!!! 10-4 this worked for my collars unplugging the circut board. instead of leaving it unplugged for 15-20 min i left mine unplugged for about 2 hrs. i cleaned everything real good while i had it apart and the first time i put it on to charge it worked like a charm. but you need to be real careful because the little phillips head screws will strip out real easy.

ok guys all the posts have helped some but the blue light is coming on on my collar like it is supposed too. Then even if they charge all day i can take them off but when i turn the collars on it still seems like the battery is dead and i cant get my system to pick them up. All three collars are in good shape and one of them is only like 6 months old. Has anyone else had that problem and how can i fix it?
