We use amber pop covers on coon and red on varmits. I just ordered the adcon spot light from valley creek for 25 with holder. The blue lens is just an experiment I wanted to try. Last thing I need to get is red pop cover for the spot light and I should have my light about optioned out as far as I can get it.

My stuff all came in. I will test it out tonight and see what happens. So far I am not too impressed with the blue glass lens, but I will know more after dark. The reflector seemed to help the 6 volt just as it did the 12 volt. I will know more after dark.

I am not impressed with the blue lens. Everything worked good but those. They didn't crack but they didn't make enough difference to mess with. Can get almost 3 popcovers for the price of the blue lens. I say the reflectors are worth it but not the lens.

Donnal I got your e mail about you having the flu. I was getting a little worried about the light coming in. I was thinking it got lost or something. It should be coming in tomorrow or today. Thanks.

I got my 12 volt box light in the other day and I hunted with it last night and it was real bright. It didnt take me but about a minute or so to find the coon in the tree.

Post subject:  MOONSHINER LIGHTS

I was wondering how many people hunt with the moonshiner lights? I am new to coon hunting and bought a 12v moonshiner and love it! the only issue i have with it is when it is on the high side you have to have it turned all the way up or it goes out! and the place i bought it from said that was a safety thing so it would not burn out the switch!

I have the 17-volt belt and love it. And you won't get much better service than Donnel will give you. I asked a question on the board once about my light and he was one of the first to answer.

Very reasonably priced and a darn good light. I bought mine for a back-up, and now swap it evenly as my primary. A buddy of mine who likes to go with me a bit just bought one. My 21-volt Blazer seems to last a little longer on the charge, but only on really long nights do I see the light getting a bit pale by the end.

Couldn't recommend them more, especially compared to the cost of most of the rest on the market. And better customer service would be next to impossible to find.
