What do you guys prefer? bup cap or baseball style... i use the soft style but its not really that comfortable.. thought about trying a bump cap . Just want the pros and cons on either one and why you like it better than the other... thanks, Kris

I hate both. I have never found one that was comfortable. I drape the cord over both on my shoulders and use it when I get to the tree. The head is just the right height to stick in my jacket pocket, to keep it from swaying back and forth while i'm walking. I use a led head band light from walmart to walk with.

The new low profile soft hats are better than the regular ones does not seem to push down from the weight of the head piece as bad. I like the bump cap better than the two.

ive got a bright eyes box light and i hook the wheat head to my old nite lite baseball cap. it works real well and keeps my hands free for leading dogs and reining the horse. when it gets real cold i have a sock hat with 2 holes cut in it-one for my light head and one for my ponytail. everything stays put real well until i get into a stickerbush!

for the most part, i dont even use a hat, everyone i hunt with dont like the hats probably because we have thick woods and alot of woods have been clear cut
