I use to build alot of dog collars in my leather shop and shoe repair and my dad still does. We get most of our stuff from weaver leather. Their real nice people to deal with and they carry most dayglo in large rolls and they have the buckles and d rings also

I don't know if there are any Amish people where you live but that is where I got the material to make my leashes. They work great and are very cheap. The Amish man I got my material from is a leather worker so he had all the leather, rings, snaps, buckles, or whatever else you could need for leatherworking.
