trx3 disposible batteries
mini 2 antena
hlpm-31100 collar w/ tree switch
I have now saved up enough money to buy my first tracking system.
is this a good system?
I like the antena becouse it folds up small and you can cary it with you (unlike those yagi antenas).
I believe that they said the collar is maby 15oz. is this to big for my treeing walker of 50+ pounds or should i look for a different collar?
will this box and collar have good range in florida?
any comments on this system would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Your hound will handle that collar just fine. It is a good system if your running one or two hounds only. Has stood the test of time for sure. Are you buying it new or used?? Good luck ,Paul Conway.

I am buying this new.
It is about 570 for the box collar reflective tape on antena bras tagmini 2 antena tree switch and delivery.
at this point i dont see myself running more than three dogs at one time for a goood while. I only have one coon hound and two catahoula hog dogs. so the houlas will get the collars during the day and my tree dog at night. If i ever start training some puppies i still will probably not have any more than three dogs out at a time. If i get to the level where i need more, i guess ill have to sell it and move up.
thanks for the feed back i was scared the collar would be to heavy for him.

What are the pros and cons to a trx 3 channel wild life tracking system? I hunt river bottoms and thick hills both. My dogs normally dog get over 2 miles, but could. How does this system work and tell me good and bad on this system. thanks for the help.
