I recently bought a astro 320 with a dc40 collar and everytime I use it I have to go the menu and add another dog to it. It wont connect to the last dog stored on there from tge last time it was used, if that makes sence its hard to explain without showing you. It will only say my dog is 12 miles away or have question marks id appreciate any help thanks

Do you give your garmin a couple minutes to warm up and find your dc40 collar? When it says your dog is twelve miles away with a ? Mark could it be last location when you turned garmin off give it 5-10 minutes to see if your garmin picks up your collar

I always put my garmin and collar tuned on on the dash while driving to my hunting spot to it gets good gps reception and Make sure you check it before you turn the dog loose cause when it dont pick them up sometimes it will not pick them up whether they are in a open field all night.if it does not pick them up I have had a time or two happen cut both off and back on and give it a few minutes
