Been doing some research and i am considering buying the Garmin Alpha 100. I came across a couple of people that said theyre collar just randomly turned off during the hunt. They contacted tritronics/Garmin about the issue and they told them that the metal on the dogs second collar or ID collar could have bumped into the charging port causing it to shut off the collar. Garmin/Tritronics told them to put electrical tape over the charging ports to fix this. Has anyone else experienced this? Any help would be nice. Thanks!

I put my 2nd collar in front so nothing touches the contacts and haven't had any problems. Love mine wouldn't trade it for any other.
