I searched briefly couldn't find anything about it on here. My question is can u mark/save the trails u frequently go on and use in an area. Such as atv trails and such. I know that sometimes it shows such trails that I use then sometimes they get removed. I was wondering if it can save all the trails and old logging roads that I go on permently..I haven't read the manual but plan to do so later

i havnt tried to mark an actual trail, but i just mark certain waypoints so i can find certain spots, then i believe you can make a route using different waypoints

There is a track saving feature, I would have to mess around with it again to find it, but it saves some percent of your tracks made with the dog and receiver, and once it reaches that percentage mark, it deletes the oldest ones first. Before deer season, I took my four wheeler up and down all of the trails with my Garmin, then when I was finished I had all of the trails mapped on my Garmin. I just have the 220 and its number of uses keeps piling up.

Thx...I also have the 220.. That was my intentions ..I have a new place to hunt and was hoping I could go out during the day and map the logging roads and atv trails and look around before I turned the dogs loose. Might make it a bit easier
